I hope you guys are fine! (Writing this with a gulp in my throat and a teary eye).

We know how important this world cup was to you and every Indian, and to be honest someone like me, who has myself only played cricket for fun, in parts of my childhood and I have not really watched a lot of matches, I could have never thought that your hardwork would make me witness almost every moment of this World Cup.

I just want to let you guys know that we all feel proud and grateful to have a team like you, where each player not only gave their bestest effort but also broke the greatest records and made history.

From Virat’s 50th century to Shami dominating the field by taking those wickets to Rohit and Shubman playing that aggressively to Bumrah energetic and astonishing bowling, each player won our hearts. And it was heart breaking to see that in spite of winning all the matches we could not get the trophy.

And what was more heartbreaking was to see tears in the eyes of the 11 strong, young leaders.

I strongly believe that you guys had everything to win but maybe the luck wasn’t in our favor that day. I just need to tell you that we all sat around the country and cried our hearts too. Not only because of the fact that we did not win but also because those 11 warriors just tried what ever they could and gave their 200%, but still had to face the failure😶.

We as someone sitting outside the field have no right analyzing, what could have gone wrong but we just want to tell you guys that we love you all and we support you with all our hearts.

We really have the BEST TEAM in the WORLD

Again, I hope you guys are fine!

With loads of love and respect❤️,

Your truthful,

Every Indian.
